Cancellation & Refund Policy

In force October 8, 2026 – October 15, 2026

This policy applies until October 15, 2026. From the next day, the revised policy applies.

This is a translation of the Korean original. If the translation and the Korean version differ, the Korean version prevails.

This policy sets out how orders for 그로브센트's paid services on patterners and Atelier pattern transactions can be withdrawn, cancelled and refunded. It forms part of the Terms of Service and the Atelier Terms; where applicable law is more favourable to members, the law applies.

1. Subscriptions in General (Basic & Pro)

① This section applies to Basic and Pro subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed monthly only; prices are US$6.99 a month for Basic and US$10.99 a month for Pro, all including VAT. Payments and refunds are made in US dollars (USD). ② “Use” means using, at least once after a payment (including automatic renewal payments and upgrade payments), more than the limits of the free plan (Free) allow or a feature that Free does not have. For example, creating or saving patterns or Papers beyond the Free limits (3 patterns per craft, 5 Papers, 5 layer groups, 5 pages per Paper, 10 custom components), using AI features (AI pattern conversion, the AI chart assistant, etc.) and using paid-plan-only features such as version history all count as “use”. Using the Service only within the Free limits, or only signing in or viewing screens, is not “use”. The Company determines whether there has been “use” from its server usage records and, at the member's request, tells the member what those records show (date, time and feature). ③ Within 7 days of the payment date, if there has been no “use”, we refund the full amount paid without asking for a reason. Once refunded, the paid access opened by that payment ends immediately. ④ After “use”, delivery of digital content is treated as having begun, so withdrawal is limited under Article 17(2)5 of the E-Commerce Act. The Company shows this on the checkout screen in advance and obtains your consent, and before you pay it lets you try the features with the free plan and free beta use (after the beta, the 7-day Pro trial). ⑤ When calculating refunds, the usage amount is rounded down to the nearest cent, and carry-over credit is rounded up to the nearest cent. ⑥ If you could not use the Service properly for reasons attributable to the Company — system errors, outages or serious defects — you get a full refund, whether or not you used it, if you apply within 7 days of payment. After that, we refund the period you could not use, with no cancellation fee, or extend your subscription.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

① You can cancel at any time in Account settings › Manage subscription. Once you cancel, automatic billing stops from the next billing date; you keep your current plan until the end of the period already paid for and then move to the free plan. ② Within 7 days of payment, if there has been no “use”, you get a full refund. ③ If there has been “use”, or more than 7 days have passed since payment, you can only cancel, without a refund, and you can keep using the plan until the end of that month's billing period. Example) You pay US$6.99 for Basic monthly, save a pattern beyond the Free limits on day 5 and request cancellation on day 6. Because there has been “use”, there is no refund and only automatic billing stops. You can keep using Basic until the end of that billing month.

3. Plan Changes and Refunds

① Upgrades (Basic → Pro) take effect as soon as you request them. You pay the new plan's price minus the value of the remaining period of your current plan (carry-over credit), and a new period starts on the day you pay (your billing date moves to that day). · Carry-over credit = amount actually paid for the current period × days remaining ÷ total days in the current period Example) Basic monthly → Pro monthly with 12 of 30 days left: credit US$2.80 → you pay US$8.19 ② Downgrades (Pro → Basic) take effect from the next billing date after the current period ends, and the difference is not refunded. ③ Within 7 days of an upgrade payment, if you have used nothing beyond the limits or features of your previous plan, we refund the full upgrade payment and return you to your previous plan and period. ④ In any other case, as in section 2 ③, you can only cancel, without a refund.

4. Failed Payments and Grace Period

① If an automatic payment (Basic or Pro) fails, the Company immediately tells you about the failure and how to change your payment method, by email and by in-service notification. ② For 7 days from the billing date (the grace period), you can keep using every feature of your current plan. The Company retries the payment with the same payment method on the 1st, 3rd and 5th day counted from the day after the billing date. ③ If payment goes through within the grace period, your period continues from the original billing date. ④ If payment has not gone through by the end of the grace period, the subscription is cancelled and you move to the free plan. You are not charged for the grace period. The patterns you made are not deleted; works beyond the free plan's limits stay read-only.

5. Free Beta Use and the 7-Day Pro Trial

① During the beta, registered members can use Pro features free of charge. After the beta ends, the Company may let members who newly sign up try Pro free for 7 days. Neither requires a payment method and neither is charged automatically. When the trial ends you move to the free plan. ② Free beta use and the trial are free and therefore not refundable. Use during these periods does not count as “use”; if you pay during them, only use after the payment counts.

6. Tickets

When tickets are sold, the following rules apply. ① Unused tickets can be withdrawn within 7 days of purchase. ② If you have used part of a bundle, we refund the amount paid minus the tickets used, priced at the bundle's unit price. ③ A ticket used to save a pattern counts as the start of digital content delivery, so withdrawal is limited. ④ Free tickets, such as those granted at sign-up, are not refundable. ⑤ If a service fault deducts tickets by mistake, we reissue them after checking.

7. Atelier Patterns

① Free patterns: no payment is involved, so withdrawal does not apply; you can remove them from your library at any time. ② Paid patterns (once paid sales begin): you can withdraw within 7 days of purchase if you have not yet opened the pattern. ③ Opening a pattern counts as the start of digital content delivery, so withdrawal is then limited under Article 17(2)5 of the E-Commerce Act. The Company shows this on the purchase screen and lets you check the content through the cover and preview before buying. ④ If a pattern differs from how it was described or advertised, or from the contract, you may withdraw — whether or not you opened it — within 3 months of receiving it and within 30 days of when you learned or could have learned of the difference. ⑤ If a pattern won't open or its content is damaged, the artist and the Company check it and then provide a working version or a refund. ⑥ Ask about a pattern's content with “Ask the artist” on its page; send withdrawal and refund requests through Contact.

8. How to Apply

① Subscriptions (Basic & Pro): cancel or request a refund in Account settings › Manage subscription. The Company processes a refund request after checking it against this policy and emails you the result and the refund amount. ② Tickets, Atelier patterns and other payments: apply through Contact (support request) or by email (cs@patterners.com). ③ Including your account email, payment date, product and reason helps us process the request quickly.

9. Refund Timing and Method

① The Company cancels the payment or refunds the amount within 3 business days of receiving a withdrawal or refund request. ② Card payments are cancelled through the payment gateway (Toss Payments Co., Ltd.); depending on the card issuer it may take another 3–7 business days to appear. Refunds go back to the payment method and in the currency you paid with. ③ If the Company delays a refund, it also pays delay compensation at the rate set by the Enforcement Decree of the E-Commerce Act (15% per year) for the delay.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a refund issue cannot be resolved with the Company, you can seek advice or mediation from the 1372 Consumer Counseling Center (dial 1372 in Korea), the E-Commerce Mediation Committee or the Content Dispute Resolution Committee.

Addendum
